Do you wish to contribute a succinct reflection on a monster, without writing an entire article?

Want to get your feet wet? This section of GOLEM is dedicated to exploring a single monster from many different angles. Each short synopsis (500 words or less) distills and captures one interesting facet of the featured monster. We seek concise but cogent essays from a variety of unique perspectives.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR MONSTER TRACKS:

  • Limit essays to 500 words (or less), cogently and concisely stating a central thesis or approach to the monster at hand, developing tight reflections in support of that particular idea.
  • Number each paragraph as follows: [1], [2], etc.
  • Use MLA format for any endnotes and list all sources.
  • Submit manuscripts as Microsoft Word attachments and send to ruby_ramji@cbu.ca, using “GOLEM: Monster Tracks” as the subject line.
