Do you wish to contribute a succinct reflection on a monster, without writing an entire article?

Want to get your feet wet? This section of GOLEM is dedicated to exploring a single monster from many different angles. Each short synopsis (500 words or less) distills and captures one interesting facet of the featured monster. Our 2006 featured monster is Bram Stoker's Dracula. We seek concise but cogent essays on this monster from a variety of unique perspectives.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR MONSTER TRACKS:

  • Limit essays to 500 words (or less), cogently and concisely stating a central thesis or approach to the monster at hand, developing tight reflections in support of that particular idea.
  • Number each paragraph as follows: [1], [2], etc.
  • Use MLA format for any endnotes and list all sources.
  • Submit manuscripts as Microsoft Word attachments and send to ruby_ramji@cbu.ca, using “GOLEM: Monster Tracks” as the subject line.
